How the timelapse is made
- Slice your model in any slicer (Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer, PrusaSlicer, Cura) and export the G-code. You can also drop a sliced 3MF that contains G-code inside it.
- The tool reads the real toolpaths, so the video shows perimeters, infill patterns like grid or gyroid, supports, and the solid top layers building up - not a fake Z-slice of a solid model.
- The glowing top line marks the active layer, like fresh extrusion. Turn it off for a clean look, or enable the turntable for a slow rotate while it builds.
- Everything runs in your browser and records locally to WebM, so no printer, camera, or upload is involved. Convert WebM to MP4 in any converter if a platform needs it.
- Need to prep a model first? Cut large prints with the STL Splitter, check printability with the STL Doctor, or browse the tools hub.
