Exports use the 180 degree open pose for print-in-place layout. Closed mode is only for checking the lid.

Printing notes

  • The exported model is arranged with the lid rotated open around the hinge axis, so the box and lid sit as a single print-in-place layout.
  • Use the box depth slider to add storage volume without changing the lid depth. The lid stays shallow while the tray grows taller.
  • Auto hinge and opener counts add symmetric repeats on wider boxes. Manual counts are useful when matching a specific hardware or grip style.
  • Print at 0.20 mm layer height with 3 to 4 walls in PLA or PETG. Test the snap fit on a short print before making a very large box.
